Terrorist attack against Charlie Hebdo offices [fr]
Following the terrorist attack perpetrated yesterday morning at Charlie Hebdo officer, during which at least 12 people died, François Hollande visited the scene and slammed an act of exceptional barbarity.
He announced that the Vigipirate plan will be elevated to its highest level in Ile de France. A meeting with the ministers directly involved was held at the Elysée the same day at 2pm.
The President of the Republic said that "no barbaric act will be able to turn off the freedom of the press. We are a united country which will know how to react and make common cause."
