Feed back on the 50th Paris Air Show [fr]
The 50th Air and Space show of the Salon du Bourget, that took place in Paris form Monday 17th to Sunday 23rd June, held all its promises for Airbus, Boeing and ATR.
The general Commissioner of the Salon, M. Emeric d’Arcimoles, was very satisfied of the success of the 2013 edition. An historic 115 billions Euros of commands were recorded by the present companies despite the very harsh weather conditions, that didn’t discourage the 315 000 visitors.
Business exchanges have been very fruitful. The European constructor Airbus recorded for 68.7 billions USD of buying intentions. Not far away, its American concurrent Boeing received 60.2 billions USD of commands intentions.
A delegation of Botswana led by the Minister of Defence, Justice and Security Headquarters, Hon. Dikgakgamatso N. Seretse, and by Lt. Gen Gaolathe Galebotswe, Commander of the Botswana Defence Forces (BDF), visited the Salon. The Batswana officials attended the aerial demonstrations that went in full swing during this week and established contacts for further partnerships in the aviation sector.
